A bit of insomnia.

The past few days I have been sleeping a lot. Its because I have been sick, struck with a cold earlier in the week, that totally took me out of commission by Wednesday night. Today is early Sunday morning and I can't sleep. Probably because I have been sleeping so much, and now I feel better. I guess I want to do something, go run, go surfing, something. But it is 4am-ish and I have guests in the family room, who are most likely happily sleeping (I would be a poor host if I waked them).

Missing work for a few days and now caught in bed with insomnia, me being the workaholic I am, I am thinking about work, of course. More travel is pending, the schedule to firm up later this week, oh boy.

On a personal note, I have a dilemna for next week, one is option is to fly home to Sacto, visit the family, and go boarding up at Tahoe with Tracy and Todd; the other option is to stay put, maybe go snowshoeing with cousin Jen Saturday and hang out with the SURF (Sing in Unity, Rejoice in Fellowship) crowd and start working on a video project with them. Option one was decided a few weeks back and it would be good to visit with mom and dad (haven't told them yet, didn't want to disappoint). Need to figure out if I need the extra time at the house to prep for my business trip or if I am good to be away right before being away for sometime while overseas.

But who can really think of next week where tomorrow (or more like today) will be full of fun. Wake up (or get up in 4 hours) maybe have some Eggo's before jetting off to church; have Francisco tag along while I buy my first surfing wetsuit (woohoo!); take my brand new 8'2" board down the the water (finally) and meet up with Mark and we all surf for a while; around 5pm get cleaned up again and make it to PMPraise (pmpraise.org) at 6-ish out in Alhambra.

Anyhow, back to my ol' self it seems, packing that schedule. If I don't get to the surfing, that's cool too, rest is always good =). Wish I could just be tired right now and go to sleep.
