solo surfing.
okay, not really solo, but today was the first day i went out without anybody i know. afterwork today i went to chill at el porto to watch the waves, beach, and relax and i called chris to ask him about a flag i saw at the lifeguard tower -- and well, decided to go in because "the waves were calling =)".
so i experienced another pearling event (i hate pearling, it is when the front of the board goes under water when attempting to catch a wave and then you go forward, straight into the water)... well, that's what happened once today. i was out in the water for prolly 30 minutes or so, but it was tough to get to a good location to catch something. i guess i choose a place where the shore was all messed up, because as i walked out the level of the sand changed from waist high to knee high, and back and forth.
anyhow, it was good to go out, there are somethings for the future, a better place for my keys... my friend i guess puts his keys in the well of his tire or something, any suggestions?; getting use to the water; and catch a wave! (i figure those are pretty good things to keep in mind).
i think the next time is going to be either monday after work or tuesday. another thing i figured out is unless you like staring at the sunset (which hurts the eyes), going after 6pm can be blinding.
well, until next time, alooooooo-ha!
