Choosing a number.

So, I am now playing soccer with a women's league that plays Saturdays in Duarte. Which is pretty far east of where I live. Its been fun. They're about to order jerseys and I get to pick a number. I don't know what number to choose, 7 is already chosen by another player on the team. I guess it doesn't matter, but this is the first time in a long time since I played on a team and I got to choose a jersey number. I am trying to figure out what number I had when I was a kid, playing soccer, I think it was 8. Maybe that's it, if it isn't already taken, I'll be 8.

Dinner Party.

I like hosting folks over at my house. It allows me to cook something that I may not have normally cooked for myself. Tonight was BBQ Pork Ribs... yum. My brother introduced me to a slow cook recipe for the oven. It was good and there were no left overs, except for some rice -- which are now being frozen into mini-packets for lunch.
These are the last few days that my friend Joshua can hang out with us as he leaves for Maryland and Americorps in 7 days. I hope to continue to be able to hang out with friends that he introduced me to. Tennis guys? =).

Well, also today, I am going to try to adhere to my personally set curfew of in bed by midnight... this goal is to hopefully regulate my schedule. Although I am a bit off, it being 10 after midnight, I would have to say that I am set for sleep now.

Exercise.

So, a few posts ago I mentioned that I am going to do a Triathlon later this spring. In preparing to do that, I also need to start exercising. I've started an exercise log, http://www.aimsplace.com/exercise_blog.html, its to track my sport and exercise events.

One thing I came up while running, I call it prayer-run. Like prayer walks, but you are running. I figure as I run I can prayer for my community.

Another thing is the time away from technology, I am able to contemplate things like focus creatively on Taiko stuff. I have a performance idea to arrange and choreograph one of our taiko songs and see if we can perform it for the Easter Service.

I like running and looking forward to more exercise activities coming.

Mornings.

Every once in a while I'll be waking up in the morning and realize..."wow, it feels a bit late..." then I'll look at my clock and wham, it's 10:30am and I've missed my alarm clock set for 6am. I can't figure it out, either my alarm clock has a tendancy to not "alarm", or somehow I am able to turn it off with zero recollection of doing so. I am about to think that I need a new alarm clock. That and I need to start going to sleep earlier in the day and no more caffiene late at night!

Thank you!

"Here I am, all I have, Raise my hands to worship you, I want to thank". I've been listening the XMRadio.com at work, and there is this song that they play on their Fish channel by the Katinas. I love this song. Thanks Lord for who you are.

My Job.

I am currently wondering, and have been for sometime, I guess, about my choice in careers. I am not sure if I should be satsified for where I am at, or if my frustration is an indication I need to move on. I wish there was an easy answer, but there probably isn't. What should I do, I think it would be good if I knew where I wanted to go, but that is what I don't know. What I do know is that I am frustrated, dare I say bored, where I am currently at and what I am currently doing.
